Noralco has been an established union company in Pittsburgh since 1952 through every World Series, Super Bowl and Stanley Cup championship the city has seen. We’ve then gone on to tear down or excavate for a few of the major sports stadiums (Forbes Field, the Civic Arena, and PPG Paints Arena) to pave the way for future victories in their new facilities. We’ve done the same for hospitals (UPMC and Allegheny Health Network), higher education (University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne University, Carlow University, etc.), businesses (PNC Bank, Walnut Capital, LG Realty, LRC Realty, etc.), government agencies (City of Pittsburgh, URA of Pittsburgh, PWSA, Duquesne Light, etc.) and many residential customers. When something needs built in Western Pennsylvania, Noralco is first in.

Personnel

Noralco contracts with local union 66 and 373 to employ the highest trained and skilled operators and laborers.  With a low turnover the individuals actually doing the work know how because they have done it many times before.

We feel our field supervision is peerless.  They average 20+ years of field supervision with many years as either an operator or laborer before that.  With hundreds of projects completed between them we’ll choose the person with the most experience in your specific type of project.

Our mechanics are also union operators with decades of experience.  If an equipment issue would arise while on a project we have the capacity to fix the machine quickly, or bring in a separate piece to keep production goals.

When you call our office you will be greeted quickly with someone who can help you or direct your call accordingly.  There is no need to sit and listen through a menu here.

Noralco has equipment that give us the capability to safely demolish buildings 100’ high and reach 80’ below grade. With loaders, rollers, dump trailers and dump trucks we can self-perform to a capacity that few specialty contractors can match.
